Easy to work with
Under 7 kg including the Makita tool. Light enough to carry with one hand, simple enough that anyone on the crew can use it after one demonstration.

The stake puller
After every event, every vineyard renewal and every roadwork job, thousands of stakes, pins and posts have to come back out of the ground.
Today that means pulling by hand, levering with a jack, or bringing in a forklift and a crew of two. It is slow, it is heavy, and it wears people out.
GroundGrip turns the impact wrench you already own into a pulling machine. Hook the attachment around the stake, pull the trigger, and the stake comes straight up in about five seconds. It weighs less than 7 kg including the Makita tool, so one person can carry it from stake to stake all day.
Why GroundGrip
Under 7 kg including the Makita tool. Light enough to carry with one hand, simple enough that anyone on the crew can use it after one demonstration.
About five seconds per stake. A ballscrew on a linear guide puts the wrench's power into a straight, smooth pull with very little friction.
One operator instead of a forklift and a crew of two. Teardown finishes sooner, and the tool runs on batteries you already have.
Applications
Anywhere stakes, pins or posts need to come out of the ground.
Thousands of tent stakes and ground anchors out during teardown of festivals, fairs and marquee events.
Pull posts and anchors when renewing rows, and tension trellis wire with the wire tensioner.
Remove tree stakes, garden posts and fence posts without digging or damaging the lawn.
Clear barrier pins, sign posts and markers quickly on roadworks and in public green spaces.
Pull formwork pins, setting-out pins and rebar on site, without a crane or a second worker.
Tough and light enough to hand out to customers every day. Fits in any van.

About us
GroundGrip was founded by two students, Youp and Coen. We came up with the idea while working on festival crews, looking for a more efficient way to get thousands of tent stakes back out of the ground at the big festivals in the Netherlands.
After every big festival, we saw stakes coming out one by one: by hand, or with a forklift and two people per stake. Teardown has to be done in days, and it wears crews out. We knew there had to be a better way.
So we built one. GroundGrip turns a cordless impact wrench into a stake puller: one person, a few seconds per stake.
What started as a festival tool grew into an all-round pulling solution for events, vineyards, landscaping, municipal works and construction.
